The Catholic Church of Christ the King in Minneapolis, MN: Latest post

Habitat for Humanity Registration

Dear Volunteer:

St. Thomas the Apostle Church and Christ the King Church are again working
with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.  This summer we will be working at one
location.  The dates will be Monday through Friday, August 3 – 7 and August
10- 14.

If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the enclosed Volunteer
Forms; yellow for construction workers, green for food providers. Workers do
not need experience with home construction; everyone is encouraged to help.
However, if you have better than average skills and are willing to teach,
please consider volunteering as a crew leader.  Envelopes will be available
for donations toward our commitment of $6,000 per parish for building
supplies.  Please return volunteer forms and donations by way of Sunday
collection or parish offices.

We will host a Habitat for Humanity Kick-Off after masses at both parishes
on the weekend of May 30 – May 31.  Past volunteers will be there to
answer questions and sign-up forms will be available for new volunteers.

Watch the church bulletins for further details.  If you have any questions,
please give us a call.

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and support.  We look forward to
working with you this summer.

Sincerely,

Al Larson, 612-929-4234, Christ the King
